I am Martyna – Handmade Bears Artist. I live and create in Lithuania.
My artist teddy bears are all different, OOAK, Handmade. I create teddy bears in old style, called Vintage. As well as my work feels French shabby chic rustic style. The primitive style bears are often created on the basis of folk traditions.
Handmade Artist Teddy Bears are more than toys, and they are special, because everyone is unique – One of a Kind. Handmade. Looking at my Artist Bears each person can often recognize their prototype, certain facial features. Each of them has its own name, its own passport, which says from what the bear is created and when. And they are not sold, they are adopted.
Why Bears? You could say, I was born and grew up in the puppet theater, which was founded by my family. Furthermore, I was born at home, there was a large old collection of dolls. And one day there I discover the handmade teddy bear already antique… Creativity, the puppet theater and various details of fairy-tales… All this made me a great impress.
My created artist bears consist of two styles: Collectible Artist Teddy Bears and Primitive Artist Bears.
